Do you know what goes great with gingersnap cookies? Strawberry cheesecake ice cream! Soooo good! OMG! The creaminess of of the ice cream counterbalances the heat of the ginger in the cookie. I could eat it forever! So, I had my Marvel Movie Marathon this weekend. I am ready for Thursday and the midnight showing of The Avengers. Wheeee! It's gonna be great. I took Friday off so I can sleep and then Saturday is Free Comic Book Day and I am going to get my free comics and do some comic shopping. It'll be great! How are you doing flist? Dwircle? Hi, hi, hi! It's been awhile and I'm sorry about that. So, so, sorry. Work has been... work and my spare time has been eaten up by writing. Which I haven't been posting here. God, I need to starting posting the backlog here. So, next week is the Avengers (I know some of you other countries already have it in the theaters, lucky bastards). Anyway, on Thursday night, I am going to the midnight showing with kid sister and her bf. I am all sorts of excited, it's not even funny. This weekend, I will be mainlining the Marvel 'verse. I'll be watching all the movies (Iron Man 1 and 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, and Captain America), writing more Steve/Howard fic, and probably watching episodes of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (a cartoon). I've got it bad, folks. So horribly, horribly bad. Writing is great. The ideas keep coming and coming and coming. Tomorrow, I will try to post the stuff I've got on the back burner. I've got a lot of stuff on the back burner. Oh, and while I was gone, I also seduced my partner-in-crime to the Marvel side of the force. *giggles* Love you, babe! Ugh, should try to sleep. Characters/Pairings: Howard Stark/Tony Stark Word Count: 541 Warnings/Kinks: Parent/Child incest (I'm going to hell), underage, apocafic, dark. Notes: So there was I was, minding my own business, trying to work on the new sub!Howard idea that I had, when this new idea came up and smacked me upside the head with a brick. Who could resist a post-apocalypse fic? Not me. Then my partner-in-crime dared me to write a Howard/Tony fic and my brain was like, two great tastes that taste great together? Yes! So here it is. There's more to this story. A lot more. And I'll probably be working on it in the next week or so. We'll see what becomes of it. Torture, forced-submissive!Howard, suicidal thoughts. Notes: This story is 100 pages long, it took me about a month to write, and it is now done. I've blamed this story on my partner-in-crime, but honestly, I would have written it even if she hadn't encouraged me. Summary: Howard is kidnapped by HYDRA. I came back from a work trip last night. Three day out and since the next day was Friday, I took it off. Because, you know, I could relax after spending three days traveling and I could sleep in, maybe get a few errands done. I woke up this morning, stumbled into the bathroom and was like, why is the floor wet? Why is there something dripping on my head? It seems my bathroom ceiling is dripping. I can only hope it's clean water and not... urgh. Anyway, the maintenance guy was here and now is gone. I can only hope he's doing something in the bathroom of the neighbors upstairs so that I can, you know, pee. Maybe brush my teeth. I just wanted to sleep in today. That was all. eta: I'm pretty sure that I mixed cleaning solutions that should not be mixed. BUT, UGH! I also had a very hot shower. AHHHHHHHH! eta2: Let's not discuss it anymore. BLAKE!!! It's hard to write porn when there is a coworker in the room with me. Ah, well, such is life, I suppose. *yawns* I can't believe that it's almost nine here and I am so tired. I think I am getting my haircut this weekend. Maybe. I keep saying it and I keep not doing it. I sort of find the Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamics thing that fandom picked up sort of hilarious and yet uncomfortably all about the penis. I think I found a way around it though. The universe in my head will be all about the vagina. Va! Gi! Na! There should be a song. I'm not very fond of assbabies. The idea grosses me out a bit actually. I am very much obsessed with submissive!Howard. This is an issue. An issue I am working through by writing porn. But not now because I am in a hotel room in another city for work. On FB, I've been doing a lot of gushing and whining the past 7 months about my writing. So, of course, people have been asking me, so, B, what are you writing? And I can't very well tell them I'm writing Captain America porn. Well, I could, but it's work friends and co-workers who are asking me and I really don't want those two things to meet. So I've had to make up stuff. Mostly I've been calling it a steampunk romance set during WW2 (although it would really be dieselpunk or... norse gods who are really alienspunk! But now I sort of want to write a... well, not s diesel or steampunk novel. But a cyberpunk maybe with Captain America avatars. It'll be set in a future where people can buy tech implants to be stronger/smarter/faster/etc. Grant would be gutter rat who gets recruited to infiltrate a anti-tech terrorist cell-- see Grant can't get tech implants, his body reject them. Anyway he gets found out by the cell and gets injected with this compound one of the terrorists has been working out (it's supposed to naturally enhance the body, only it's a failure-- the compound has been mutating the bodies of the test subjects until they die). Only, it works on Grant! So, now he is a sort of mercenary for hire kind of guy. Anyway he gets hired by this multi-billion dollar conglomerate to find and bring back their kidnapped CEO, Edward. Edward is a genius, unenhanced, thank you very much. Only he's sort of a smart ass and he's pissed off a lot of people and now he's been kidnapped, but he's not *helpless.* He's got one of the highest IQs on the planet. He has a plan to get out and he didn't need some gorgeous blond to help him. Except, you know what, maybe he could use Grant because *someone* is trying to kill him and he needs a bodyguard.
